Open your arms and circle me

Draw me into orbit and hold me there

By the power of your eyes

Deep like stars 

Burning in the dark of your wondering stare

Melting the core of me 

Until we

Are all there

Is:

You the earth

Solid and untamed

And I, moon-like

by your lips’ ellipse framed

And I long for this passing

Of day to night and night to day 

Only to stay

Endlessly

For these moments 

When you become my universe

These are the moments that take my breath away

Something has always fascinated me about words, simple letters arranged in countless combinations, which combined, create images which express something far beyond the sum of their parts.
